2 pood Kettlebell swing, 30 reps
30 Pull-ups, scaled with jumping pull ups

Tuesday's W.O.D.

4 rounds for time
20 Thrusters with dumbells and weighted bars, weight will be set at class
30 Jumping pull-ups or 15 negatives
1 round around the mat inside the studio of bear crawls

Well guys, looks like we are drawing attention from the local wildlife now. Our team Mascot was out scouting us out today and making sure our form was on. This hawk is thinking "crazy humans"

Pass this on to the whole team at TC CrossFit....Thanks for the great work out, but more importantly, thanks for the hospitality!!!  I Think you guys are going to be a very successful gym.  As long as you keep the humble, hard working, family-like atmosphere you guys will continue to grow in numbers and in strength.  I will be opening my gym at the beginning of September.  If any of you are ever in the area make sure you stop in and work out!!!  I hope that our atmosphere will mirror the atmosphere of TC CrossFit.  I hope to revisit you guys soon, keep up the good work!

Huge accomplishment!

Today we had our black belt graduation and some of our CrossFit athletes earned their 2nd degree black belts. Earning your 2nd degree takes several years of hard work and discipline.  Just like CrossFit.  A big shout to these guys for doing what most people will never accomplish!  We have Harrison, Zach, Zach, and Caitlin (not in photo Aerial).

Submission Hunt

CrossFitter Jeremy Anderson competed last Saturday at the Midwest Submission Hunt.  The Submission Hunt is a Jiu Jitsu tournament were a lot of good players come to compete.  Jeremy competed in the Absolute division (no weight limit!) were Jeremy was 2nd smallest guy weighing only 170 lbs.  He competed against a 225 lbs, 245 lbs, 255 lbs, and in the finals a 275 lbs guy.  These guys were not fat, but very strong and athletic.  Jeremy took 2nd losing by points to the 275 lbs guy.  He controlled the match and dominated until the end.  The crowd was very impressed with his talent and heart.  It was like a David and Golith match.  Jeremy was coached by Jiu Jitsu coach and CrossFit Trainer from CrossFit Minnesota Damien Hirtz.  Good job Jeremy!
